A boy Identified as chima was arrested by the Nigeria police in Lagos state for setting his sister on fire..
Victoria been the victim was said to be two months pregnant when the murder took place at their residence within the premises CAC bus stop in Okokomaiko ojo ,on 14th of may.
The country gathered the information that chima lifted up a keg containing premium motor spirit (PMS) in it to puncture his sister in the kitchen.
They also learnt that the three of them were present inside the restaurants kitchen when an argument arose between Victoria and her mother.
Trouble was said to have started after the woman stopped her daughter from leaving their residents to meddle around with men.
It was gathered that Victoria didn’t like the scolds which left her no choice but to raise her hand against her mom thereby forcing chima to grab a nearby keg to attack her.
Without hesitation the content inside the keg poured out leaving some of it in Victoria’s body which ignited the fire leaving her in a critical state.
We also got notice of the fact that the girl was taken to a nearby hospital on kemberi road, Okokomaiko initially but was rejected by the doctors who referred them to the Alimosho General Hospital, Igando were she was confirmed dead.

According to sources of information,
it was the deceased cries and the smoke that was heard and sighted coming from the kitchen that attracted the neighbors who assisted in putting out the fire.
Chima who was caught by the community youths was said to have attempted fleeing from the scene after realizing what he had done to his sister, which afterwards was handed over to the police.
According to a resident identified as Sunday Ezekiel, said the catastrophe between them did not warrant the use of fuel,
saying that all they heard was the victims distress cry and and the thick smoke from the kitchen.
It was also learnt that the victims mother who tried putting out the fire had also sustained some burn injuries on her legs.
The contacted police spokesman known as Bala Elkana investigated the incident,
adding to the report that the suspect had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Yaba for further action.
He also said he wasn’t aware that the deceased Victoria was pregnant.
